I think Valentine's is a great holiday. It's wonderful to be able to show someone how much you love them in an extra special way. Thursday night Hailey stayed up late to paint her valentine mailbox for the school party on Friday.
She came home with tons of candy, plush animals and cards. She also colored me a precious card that said "You are the best Momma and I love you with all my heart and I always will." Ah, I love being a Mommy!
Saturday, the children and I kept busy. I went and spent some time with my Mother-in-law and LB. I also went to visit with Jennifer since Nick was working all day. I got home just in time for Brad to wake up. We had a precious family dinner. With, as Hailey would call them... the "Most Wonder Fullest Best Ever Yummy Steaks". Brad really does know how to cook a great steak on the grill. We ate until we were slap full and then settled down to rest for the evening. Brad ended up getting sick with the headache, drippy nose, cough mess before bedtime. He still isn't feeling up to par but was able to go into work.
I'm changing gears a little here...today was my first day to road run. It was weird for me. I am a closet runner, I guess. Normally, I don't like for people to see me floppy and breathing hard with a red face and a gimpy leg. But, it just wasn't practical to drive to the track when I could run to it. I did well and I hope to be able to run the entire circuit strait through soon! It is only a mile and a half. I also did two and a half miles at the track. So, four miles in all (mostly walking) but that is still a pretty good work out. Keep me in your prayers! I have been having some wicked knee pain.

I am sooo super sorry your knee is hurting. I hope that everything continues to go well with you in running. I am also glad you had a great Valentine's Day. You made it EXTRA special for me. I love you much and hope bro gets better soon!
When it warms up some and we can get Harper out, Teale is going to run with me some. Maybe we will come over and run with you guys sometime. :)
