This week has been great! I have been tracking my calories and so far have dropped 2.8 pounds! I didn't get started until Tuesday so I consider that a pretty healthy drop.
Tuesday was easy. I took a swift 20 min. walk around the track after dropping HP off at school. For those of you who have been to Dora Park I did the hill once and it about killed me. Thursday I walked 2.5 miles at the same track and did the hill once again. This time the hill was much easier, plus I had Christy and Rose with me for support. This morning I got up, ate a light breakfast and Rose and I walked up to Bagley where I met Jennifer and we jogged/walked in the rain. It was fun but the dog was NOT happy getting wet. lol
So basically this week was a success for me! I squeezed out 5 1/2 miles total, lost a couple of pounds and the only thing that hurts are my shins and ankles.
I hope to go for a little run tomorrow between worship at Bagley if anyone wants to join me!

That's right, girl! Keep up the awesome job. So glad I am along for the ride.
Congrats. That sounds like a great week. Maybe sometime this year we can get a big group to run a 5K.
