Wowzers, I am tired this morning! At 4:00 a.m. we had the youth group from our home congregation ACOC come to our house for a devotional and coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
This is something the youth does every year. They take an entire night and go to different homes and do different activities (Ashley said it was practice staying up for the New Year's Eve Singing which by the way is this Wednesday starting at 8:00 p.m. ~ If you have never been you MUST come. We sing in the new year together and there is no better way in my mind than doing it while blending our voices together in song.) Brad worked most of the evening prior to every ones arrival working on his lesson and I moped and dusted and fluffed pillows, you know normal girl stuff. We were anxious for them to get here and got an extra pump of energy when we got the phone call from Ashley saying they were on their way here. The singing (as always) was beautiful and even though we nearly lost a couple of the kids to sleep deprivation, most of them were still in good spirits and cutting up and talking. The best part was Hailey never woke up and Blake only cried out right before everyone left... we rocked and cuddled and then he went right back to sleep. I can't wait until next year!

Sounds like ya'll had a good time. We will have to sign up next year to be one of their stops.
Yeah, we got the first stop. It was great and we went to the first 3 stops and then me and the kids went home and Barry went bowling with them. I don't know how you did the 4 AM stop.
So glad everything went so well the other night. :o)
4am! Wow! You are superwoman! Glad y'all had a good time. :)
What a great and FUN thing to do! I'll have to get more info from you. Maybe we can do something like that out here with our youth!
