There has been a lot of baby gender news lately! I am so very happy for all of my friends who are getting little girls!!! I can say first hand that little girls are very special. I am anxious to know if we are having a boy or a girl. My pink or blue ultrasound has not been scheduled yet but as soon as I know when I will sure be blogging about it! I can't wait! Brad wants a boy. He feels like 3 against 1 would just be wrong lol. I don't mind either way. The Chinese Pregnancy Chart is showing a boy and it was right about Hailey. We will know in a few weeks...hopefully!!! I don't want a Mommy of 2 + 1 hiding incident at all!
Now that I have that off my chest :) I must tell you about the BIG scare I had this morning. Let me set the stage ~ Hailey and I are riding down the road in my little Corolla singing "What a Dog" from Lady and the Tramp when all of a sudden everybody in both lanes slam on their brakes and start skidding and swerving trying not the hit each other. I...in response to all the craziness in front of me am forced to do the same, when all of a sudden Hailey's car seat flies up and smacks the back of my seat !!!! I was horrified! I thought "OH NO HER SEAT BELT BROKE!!!"
No one was hit and the crazy congestion cleared up quickly as I veered off into a parking lot to get out and check on my baby. She looked so scared and I was scared. Just think if we had been in an accident...she could have just as likely flew over me and went straight out the windshield!!!! HORRIFYING.....A MOTHER'S NIGHTMARE!!
She never cried (but I almost did) I checked her belt and low and behold.... my little ding-dong of a daughter had unbuckled her seat from the car !!! Then I was just angry. I threatened her life and told her to Never ever Ever ever NEVER touch her seat belt again. Even to a 4 year old I think I was very clear on getting my point across. Her face, head, neck, back, everything was fine and she didn't seem to have hurt anything in the least bit. So from now on I will be snapping her in the 5pt. harness AND making sure she hasn't pushed the cute little red button on the belt that actually holds her seat in the car. That's all for today folks! :)

Whoa...I checked it oout and it is right about Jenna and Baby Girl #2. Wow.
P.S. Thank God she was okay!! You and new baby too!
Scary! Glad everything turned out ok. Remember back when she was little and her car seat turned sideways in my car on the way to Jan's wedding? I about died!
The chinese calendar was wrong for me... but good luck!
oh my gosh, that is SO scary about the car seat! i'm glad you were both okay!!
That is very scary! I'm glad she was okay!
BTW-I was given a "old wives tales" book (back when I was pregnant) that had fun ways to try to guess what you are having. If you get anxious and want you can check out this link on my blog:

where I tried to guess based on their questions. It was right for me-predicted a girl that we now have.
I am glad she is okay. I bet she will not do it again after being slammed into the seat!
