16 Weeks

I am beginning my 16th week of pregnancy. Our little one this week will be Five and a half inches tall and about six ounces in weight. The baby can grasp its hands, kick, and even somersault! Because his/her muscles are developing, he/she can make some faces now. Our baby is able to squint, frown and open its mouth. I have been a little fatigued but only in the evenings when I can lie down (that part has been convenient)and I am also experiencing round ligament pain and it just plain ol' HURTS. Thankfully, all of these things will soon pass and we will be holding our little one and all the aches and pains will be well worth it!

The worst is when you sneeze and it feels like someone is stabbing you in the belly! Ouch!
