For some reason tons of things happen when I can't blog about them. Consider this a catch up post.
A week ago I was struck down again with mastitis...an evil evil infection that us nursing mommies sometimes have to deal with. As for me, it was my 6th time to "deal with it" and I have come to the conclusion that I may only be able to handle one more mega dose of antibiotics before they will no longer be effective. SO I have decided to continue nursing as long as I do not become ill again.
Now, while I was laid up in the bed with 102.6 degree fever for three days Brad went shopping and purchased his first lawn toy! Although we will miss our bi-weekly visits from our friends Mark and Josh, we have been living here for six years and it was about time to start taking some responsibility for our yard.

It only took me about a week to fully recover from being sick. In the meantime the kids and I decided to have a picnic on our fresh cut grass and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having lately.
Also, Hailey got a hair cut.
Hailey is also taking her big sister responsibilities seriously. She has started reading to Blake and they both enjoy looking at the pages together. I think it is the sweetest thing.
