Hailey is my little worrier. She is always thinking something bad is going to happen to the people she loves. She prays that everyone will just be o.k. A day never passes without her naming off everyone she knows and asking God to keep him or her safe from harm and out of the hospital. Bad dreams have been affecting her pretty bad and I am sure it is because she is constantly waiting for disaster during the day and it is pouring over into nights. For some reason the nightmare culprit this week (yes this has been going on for sometime now) is a big bad alligator who is trying to eat her, me, Blake, Brad.... whoever.
I picked her up from school today and passed a little place that sells window decals. Hailey and I went inside to see if they had any frogs. When I walked in, the place was covered with Native American goods. Furs, arrowheads, jewelry, and AH HA! Dream Catchers! So I really worked up a big ta-do about the dream catchers and told her to pick one out and we would put it in her room. {If you would like to know the story behind them click here}
Tonight when I put Hailey down to sleep I made sure to remind her to have good dreams. She smiled and told me she knew that she would now. --- I sure hope so...
