Woo Wee

Last Friday evening instead of soaking in a nice, hot & relaxing bubble bath I hung out with my friend Karen. I really enjoyed visiting with her and I think we really needed that therapy session (you know how it is when girls get together talking about everything). After getting home at midnight my mind was working over time and I didn't get to sleep until 2:00a.m.

My ever so precious husband got home around 5:00a.m. and the little rest I had gotten was over with. We talked and talked until around 6:30a.m. which was great. I love getting to talk to him even if it is in the wee hours of the morning.

I had made plans the night before with Karen to leave the house at 9:30a.m. to go to the gym.... which we both were able to do even though we were tired from our shenanigans the night before. After getting my booty beyond kicked in COMBAT (a really rockin' class ) I got home and took a shower... gussied up for Brad and after taking Sunday School clothes over to Mama Chee-vee's (because Hailey called to inform me she was going to spend another night with her) Brad and I went out on a date.

I had my heart set on the Cheesecake Factory but Brad didn't want to wait in the line lingering outside so we ended up at Macaroni Grill (another yummy place) I actually ate something with spinach in it (which I would normally detest but ended up really liking it). After dinner we went to Barnes & Noble and looked around for a while. On our way home we had to stop by the grocery store to pick up some things for Sunday lunch. I invited Chee-vee and Lori over for Roast & Potatoes. The weekend... although far from restful so far was really good.

LO AND BEHOLD Sunday morning I had a knock on my front door. Who in the world could that be !? My sweet little baby girl with a temperature of 102!!! Needless to say we didn't make it to services that morning but I did manage to get lunch all finished up for Lori and Chee-vee and we were able to eat and visit shortly. The rest of Sunday was spent babying HP and trying to keep her fever down.

Monday....hmmm.... I didn't rest well Sunday night because I was worried about things and had a lot on my mind. I didn't get in the bed until 11:30p.m. and then I had to wake up at 4:30a.m. to get ready for work. Thankfully Chee-vee was able to keep the baby and met me at the pediatricians office that afternoon where we learned that Hailey had a very nasty sinus infection and step throat ~ she would need to be on antibiotics for the next 10 days :(

Today is Tuesday. I am exhausted all ready and I still have 3 work days to go. Enough Said.

One more thing.... looks like I am rolling home on a baby tire. I went to get my oil changed at lunch and had a "bad" tire that needs to be replaced grrrrr.... I hope I make it home safe.
