4 We Are

Where did this Spring Break go? Honestly,I slept most of it. I'll start out with a Hailey recap. She spent most of these past few beautiful days across the street in our new neighbors backyard. Her and the little girl named Summer (who she still keeps calling Autumn) hit it off immediately and it is hard to keep them apart. There is a little lounge chair camped out by the edge of their fence where Summer sits and waits for Hailey to come out to play. It is very sweet and I am glad someone Hailey's age is around for her to cut up with. Blake's week was no different other than having his big sister around to play with a bit more. He had some kind of weird stomach bug that we had to put up with at the beginning of the week. He would only get sick at night. He would throw up once and then be fine but it happened Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night and Wednesday night in the car (that one about did me in). It was really weird but he has been fine since. Brad enjoyed coming home without having to worry about taking Hailey to school or watching Blake while I ran her to school. He was able to come in and get a shower and just relax after working all night. It was really nice having a relaxing week with great weather.

Now, Wednesday night when Blake got sick that last time. I felt a little sick while cleaning him up but I thought it was just from the thought of it. Come to find out I got the bug too. Wednesday night I was sick as a dog. Thursday Brad took off of work so I could rest. I got sick that night and Friday night too. Today I feel better than I have. I am still weak just from not being able to eat but I haven't been sick anymore.

I forgot to mention my Scale Back Alabama Team ~ Lost a combined total of 32 pounds!!! Great Job Ladies!! And, thanks to my stomach virus I was able to hit my 10lb. goal. I figure I would have only lost about 6 lbs. otherwise. Also, before all of the icky stuff, Jennifer, Anna, Autumn and myself went to Sips & Strokes to paint. I really enjoyed it and I will be taking Hailey for a "Mommy Daughter" day soon.
