Mentor Program Kicks Off

Tit 2:3-5 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

When I read this verse it makes me realize how blessed I am to belong to a congregation that is full of "aged" women who have instructed, guided and encouraged me as a young wife and mother. Just this week a new program has been launched for the 7th - 12th grade girls. I know it will be a success. Several young married women like myself have volunteered to mentor these younger girls in hopes of creating strong christian ties during these "awkward" and sometimes very tough years. Please pray for this program. I know it will be a lot of fun but I pray that our influence will help build stronger christian ladies for the future of the Lord's church.

For those of you who may know her. My sweet mentee is Autumn! Yea!

I'm excited about this program and I know it will be a success. I'm hoping to join in on it when Caylee Grace is a few months old. I know you will be a good mentor.
