When my alarm clock went off this morning I sat up and before my feet could hit the floor Hailey ran in my room saying "MOMMY!!!! I REALLY DO HAVE A LOOSE TOOTH!!!"
Ahh...finally. That kid has wanted to loose a tooth since last year and on several occasions she has come to me to check and see if a tooth was wiggly.
Sure enough, she had a wibbly wobbly tooth. Right there on the bottom front. I was so happy for her. She went on and on about how this was the "Happiest day of her life" (lol) and she wanted to make sure we were going to church today so she could tell everyone all about it. :)
She went to school full of glee. I knew this was going to be an exciting day for her. Little did I know that when I went to pick her up I looked on the teacher's peg board and there it was! Her tooth fell out during class. Now she was really excited. The Toothfairy will be visiting tonight...I can't wait to see what she brings!!!
I am a mega scrapbook fanatic so I found this sweet little poem that I will be using. This one is really sweet. Enjoy!
Carefully placed under a pillow of white
Lay one little tooth as she turned out the light;
Her eyes closed in slumber, a smile on her face,
Covered up to her chin with a quilt momma made.
Quietly hovering above her sweet head,
A room full of fairies looked down on her bed,
Little gold bags were carried by some,
While others had wands that glowed like the sun.
Each one had a job to fulfill in the night,
Some brought gold coins and others brought light;
Together they worked as they flitted about,
Replacing the tooth with some coins to be found.
Their job was complete as she let out a sigh,
They floated to the ceiling way up high,
Out of the window and into the night,
The tooth fairies flew leaving behind such delight.
