Sick Baby & Sleep Over

Blake has been sick for a couple of days and I have had a suspicion that he may have an allergy to cats. His 9 month check up was scheduled for the 21st of this month but I asked them to see him early because his little eyes and nose were pouring and he was miserable after staying over at his Gran Nana's house on Tuesday(who has cats). His check up went well. The pediatrician confirmed my suspicion that he is allergic to something. So he is now on a daily dose of Zyrtec. He has gained 2lbs. since his last appointment weighing him in at 18.9 and he is still a shorty at 26 inches :)

After leaving the doctors office we swooped by the pharmacy to grab some Zyrtec and vitamins with iron. There was a yard sale going on there and I was able to get him this handy dandy little play tent. (thank you Kayla!!)

When he wasn't laying in the floor like this watching Baby Einstein videos,

he was playing around with it and after I put batteries in it and HP showed him how to push the door bell. He really enjoyed it!

I had promised "the Parker kids" as Hailey refers to them (or Cailey and Kota to the rest of the world)that they could come over and spend the night last night. After getting here, the evening was so nice they were able to play outside while I got supper ready (Hamburger Helper ~ by request). After playing outside, supper and games. The twins wanted to bake gingerbread men.....Ummmm......I had to think about that one. After a few minutes of brain storming I remembered I had a huge roll of cookie dough in the fridge. Dakota helped me roll it out and then the three of them helped decorate the little cookie girl with M&M's! I must say she looked sorta cute!

That was until we actually baked her... then she fluffed up and looked like this:

lol I made the comment that she got a little fat in the oven. Kota replied... YEA just like you! Ah...and that is why I am eating cabbage for breakfast....lol

KIM!!!!!! I can't believe that! It is funny but not funny. Kids will say anything. I am sure she really meant to say she is pretty just like you!

Wow, I had some catching up to do. Your blog hasn't been updating on my bloglines for some reason. That cookie chick looked pretty good if I do say so myself. I wish I had an M&M cookie right about now.
