Terrific Tuesday

Since HP has gotten out of school for the Summer I decided we needed to have something for her to look forward to during the week. Something fun that we can get out of the house and do together or with friends. So I invented...

TERRIFIC TUESDAYS(echo echo echo)

HP loved this idea! Last week we spent a day at the library where she got her first library card and checked out a whole bag full of books and four movies.

Yesterday we invited a few friends over and had a great time in the back yard with the water hose. I look forward to tons of adventures this Summer and I think Terrific Tuesday will be our push to get out and have lots of fun!

Even after our fun filled water day outside, HP played a great game of tee-ball. It was her last game. A make-up game for one that was rained out a few weeks ago. It was sad to see everyone go. I think some of them will be back next spring for ball but I still hated for it to end. HP's coach threw out the idea of moving her up to the 7-8 softball team but I am not sure she is ready for that just yet.

Let's see....Gracie ran away. So we are again, cat less. If anyone has a sweet, fixed, small animal to give away we are looking for a pet that will stay with us. LOL

And, today is my Pepa's 75th Birthday. We are going over to visit with him in a little bit. A couple of days ago I over heard HP and Pepa having this conversation~

HP: What birthday is this going to be Pepa?

Pepa: Well, honey it is going to be my 75th.

HP: No, I mean what birthday is it going to be?

Pepa: My 75th sweetheart.

HP: (getting a big discouraged) NO Pepa. WHAT birthday... you know??? Like Power Rangers or Superman???

Okay, the HP/Pepa conversation was hilarious!! As for Terrific Tuesdays, I think that is a great idea! We should check out the dollar movie one Tuesday and take the kids!

That is a hilarious story! Kids are so funny. If you ever want to have a Terrific Thursday. Fun Factory in McCalla has all you can jump, slide, & run for $5 from 1:30-5:00. Kind of a long drive but the kids love it!

That is a good idea. I love ideas like that for the kids to get all excited about. Blake is adorable and it seems that Haley thinks he hangs the moon. Madeline loves he little brother and will not walk in the room without hugging him or something. It is so cute. Anyways- you look like you have it all together with the two- how was the overall adjustment for you? Jennifer
